Beyonce Song Rejected By The Grammy Country Committee

Beyonce Song Rejected By The Grammy Country Committee

On Tuesday Beyonce became the nominations' Queen by bagging up 9 Grammy nominations for 2017. This was a really big achievement for her but hey wait! What did just happen? Well the Country Committee rejected one of her songs.

The categories in which Beyonce got nominated for the 59th annual Grammys included the pop category ("Hold Up," pop solo performance), rock ("Don't Hurt Yourself," with Jack White, for rock performance), R&B ("Lemonade," for urban contemporary album) and rap ("Freedom," with Kendrick Lamar, for best rap/sung performance). "Lemonade" was also nominated for best music film and "Formation" for best music video. In her career Beyonce has been nominated more than any other female artist and that is 62 times.

She already bagged 20 awards. But this time her song "Daddy Lessons" was rejected by the Recording Academy's country music committee. If Beyonce's song would have had not been rejected, it would have been eligible for honours such as best country song and country solo performance. Sources tell that Beyonce submitted "Daddy Lessons" - from her album Lemonade- to the country category. The person, who spoke on condition of anonymity because the person was not allowed to speak publicly about the topic, said the country music committee rejected the song.

In her song "Daddy Lessons" Beyonce can be seen singing about the lessons that she learnt from her dad and a previous manager whereas the use of hand claps incorporating horns and acoustic guitar is also there. Well the rejection of this song will lessen the enthusiasm of neither Beyonce nor her fans as they have a lot more to hope for.

Beyonce's album "Lemonade" got enormous popularity during the year. The time when it freshly came up everybody could be seen discussing about it including celebrities and fans as well. We hope that she wins in multiple categories and set greater records.
