Apple could be bringing back the Mac Mini Server version to the Apple Mac Mini 2017. The Cupertino-based tech giant has disappointed fans for a long time and now it is high time that Apple releases the refreshed Mac Mini with some top-class specs and features to get back its former glory.
Apple users last heard about a Mac Mini update in 2014 and when it was finally released, they were thoroughly disappointed with the device's lackluster performance. The company downgraded the device to a mere dual-core processor from a quad-core Intel i7 chip. Certain tech enthusiasts even believe that the Mac Mini 2017 will never see the light of the day.
When originally released in 2006, the Mac Mini was a wonder device as people could not imagine that a tiny box can be an advanced computer. Soon other companies followed suit and produced similar computers. Apple fans are eager to see a refreshed Mac Mini 2017 and the return of the Mac Mini Server version.
This version will allow the Mac Mini 2017 to perform a multitude of tasks that actually requires individual servers to accomplish. The file sharing and mail server packages come in-built with the MacOS server and additionally serve as a Time Machine backup solution for other Macs.
