'Crossy Road' 2016 Latest News, Characters and Updates: Game Releasing in Southeast Asia Next Year; New Characters and Game Deals
Mobile game "Hovercrash" has been made available last December 8 and it came with a free "Crossy Road" style monetization. Arcade video game "Crossy Road" is also believed to be released in Southeast Asia next year.
On Thursday, "Hovercrash" became available for free and even came with a bundle of the "Crossy Road" title. Players also have the choice to unlock all vehicles and remove all advertisements for $1.99 worth of in-app purchases.
'Crossy Road' concept
Released in November 2014, "Crossy Road" is an arcade video game based on the concept of "Why did the chicken cross the road?" It has received positive reviews from players who claim that this is a similar title to one game in Atari.
Other players like its simplicity and that it is easy to play. Gamers claim that "Crossy Road" is a perfect way to kill time when one is bored.
Southeast Asia release
Though the game has been released more than two years ago, Southeast Asian gamers will be experiencing the title for the first time next year. SEGA's subsidiary, goGame has revealed its plan to publish "Crossy Road" in the region in early 2017.
Aside from the Southeast Asia release, goGame is also reportedly localize the title for Thailand then improve gameplay with the addition of functions. Once released in Southeast Asia, players will automatically be able to compare their rankings with Facebook friends who also play the game.

Many have long waited for this release of "Crossy Road" in Southeast Asia and they are already looking forward for its release. One of the recent updates to the game that Asian players should anticipate to is the addition of the characters in Disney's newest movie "Moana."
