EA DICE has finally released the newest update for "Star Wars: Battlefront" this December. The Battlefront update 1.11 is also a support to the game's DLCs mainly the PlayStation VR X-Wing mission and the Rogue One Scarif content. The Scarif, which is now available on the game's season pass features four maps mainly The Shield Gate, Landing Pad 13, Scarif Beach and Scarif Jungle.
Meanwhile, the Rogue One DLC will feature for the first time, the playable characters mainly Orson Krennic and Jyn Erso. The Star Wars: Battlefront update 1.11 will also deliver the Infiltration in the game.
According to the Attack of the Fanboy, the Infiltration is described as "intense multi-stage game mode that will have players battling across three phases of varying experiences and objectives. From battling in space among U-wings and Star Destroyers, to creating a distraction for your allies on the beachheads of Scarif."
Also today, PS4 players will be able to play the PlayStation VR X-Wing mission; a free DLC for the "Star Wars: Battlefront" game. Unfortunately, this feature requires you to have the PlayStation VR headset to play the DLC. The Patch notes for "Star Wars: Battlefront" update 1.11 were also revealed.
Some of the categories included in the Star Wars: Battlefront update 1.11 include Death Star DLC, Walker Assault, Extraction, Sabotage, Heroes vs. Villains, Battle Station and Game Mode. Recently, EA DICE announcement the cease on the development of "Battlefield" in order to concentrate on the "Star Wars: Battlefront" game.
The idea of prioritising the game came after the game received poor review because of its lack of content and storyline. The game developer also said, there will be at least two years of "Battlefield" hiatus while the "Star Wars: Battlefront" game is being updated.
