It's been a while since "Fallout 4" got a major update and Bethesda has already announced that "Fallout 4: Nuka World" will be the last major update for the game. With this, fans of "Fallout" game franchise are expecting "Fallout 5" in the near future.

"Fallout 4: Nuka World" is reportedly the last leg for Bethesda's fourth franchise. Although it has only been more than a year since "Fallout 4" was released to the public, speculations of an upcoming "Fallout 5" has been a hot point of discussion for gamers.

Although it would be exciting to imagine "Fallout 5" release date set for 2017, realistically speaking, it is generally impossible. According to game analysts, Bethesda is planning something big for "Fallout 5." 

Big in the sense that it would be a whole new gaming experience for the players as they re-calibrate "Fallout 5" to accommodate Virtual Reality features and 360-degree gaming. Budget-wise, "Fallout 5" will entail a big amount of money from Bethesda if it will really push through with VR-features.

'Fallout 5' Updates

Location-wise, Bethesda's "Fallout 5" might also have a new environment. Previous "Fallout" installments were set in Boston and Washington D.C. There are reports saying that "Fallout 5" might be set in New Orleans but it remains unconfirmed as of writing.

Aside from New Orleans, an insider from Bethesda has reportedly leaked two possible location options for "Fallout 5" - sunny California or shiny New York. It would be very exciting to see how Bethesda would turn California or New York into a post-apocalyptic world.
