“AMD Radeon Crimson ReLive Edition” Latest News & Update: New Radeon Software Update Released Ahead Of AMD Zen Test Run

Ahead of the much publicized test run of its Summit Ridge Processor, AMD released on Thursday its latest driver update Radeon Crimson ReLive Edition. The newest software bundle caters to the high graphics demand in the gaming community while delivering power efficient and seamless gaming experience.

Compare to its predecessors, Radeon Crimson ReLive Edition delivers 30 percent performance improvement in key graphics applications. It is a high performance graphics software, created to address the needs of graphics designers, content creators and game developers.

"Crimson ReLive Edition lets gamers share their biggest gaming victories, and gives creators free open source tools and rock solid stability," said Raja Koduri, senior vice president and chief architect, Radeon Technologies Group.

The feature packed Radeon Crimson ReLive Edition included Radeon ReLive where gamers can "relive" their gameplay by capturing, streaming, and sharing recorded gaming sessions with online friends and competitors.

According to Digital Trends, Radeon Crimson ReLive Edition also includes panel for advanced display settings and diagnostics, such as an automatic bad HDMI cable and signal detection fallback. It also sports a VP9 decode acceleration for streaming 4K video at 60Hz, support for Dolby Vision and HDR 10 in PC gaming, a new borderless full-screen mode in AMD FreeSync, Skype performance enhancements for APUs, plus dozen others of amazing features.

This Radeon Crimson ReLive Edition package also includes Radeon Chill, a power efficient controller that regulates framerate based on the speed of the mouse movements. It is designed to reduce system power consumption while maintaining an excellent end-user gaming experience in a cooler and quieter system.
