According to Satya Nadella, Microsoft's CEO, Microsoft is focusing all its efforts to make the upcoming Surface Phone stand out in the tight mobile market. The capability of Continuum is a current project that the tech company is working on. This will allow the handheld Surface Phone to become, as described, as a base computer - which includes external mice, monitors, and keyboards.
As admitted by Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella, if the mobile community will rate things in terms of hardware, Microsoft will surely fall short compared to its rivals. For this reason, the tech giant is gearing up and is giving much emphasis in reducing the gap between mobile devices and desktop computers. The company is putting their resources on the next Surface Phone and equipping it with the capability of Continuum. This is why the upcoming Surface Phone is dubbed as a "PC in your pocket".
In a previous report, it was mentioned that Microsoft's upcoming Surface Phone will certainly run on Windows 10. Microsoft aims to have a unified platform -- what runs on their laptop, also will run in their upcoming Surface Phone.
Since the Surface Phone has top of the line specifications, it is expected that Microsoft's lowest variant of will cost about $699 and its high-end version is expected to be around $1,099. The Surface Phone will have the best specifications in the market given if these numbers are true.
