'Tekken 7' Release Date, News & Update: Bandai Namco Launches New Online Tournament Mode for Consoles, Introduces Kuma & Panda

This 2017, fans of Bandai Namco's fighting video game series "Tekken" will be excited to find "Tekken 7" arrive to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows PC. A new trailer has been released as Bandai Namco launches new online tournament mode in "Tekken 7." The trailer also introduces Kuma and Panda to the game's roster of characters.

The news comes via PlayStation Lifestyle, which reports that Bandai Namco launches new online tournament node durig the "Tekken 7" "King of the Iron Fist Tournament." The studio introduces Kuma and Panda, new characters that fans can get a glimpse of in the trailer. According to the press releases, Kuma is Heihachi Mishima’s pet who believed that his master was dead. Because of his loyalty, he still protectd the Mishima Zaibatsu. He reunites with his master to become "one of the most essential member of the Tekken Force."

Now ta Bandai Namco introduces Kuma and Panda to "Tekken 7," fans can get to know Panda, who is Ling Xiaoyu’s pet and bodyguard. In addition to the two new characters, Bandai Namco also launches new Online Tournament Mode for consoles. When "Tekken 7" arrives to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One next year, it will have an Online Tournament Mode that will have some awesome new features.

"Tekken 7" gamers who will play on consoles should know that the Online Tournament Mode will let gamers create their own online tournaments and even participate in it with their friends. There will be single and double elimination options, as well as secured entrance for tournament participants. A Spectator Mode will also be available for those who don't want to play, but want to watch. Fans can also expect in-game content, including fight money and other awesome items.
