When will "The Walking Dead" Season 7 return with Episode 9?

AMC has not yet announced the official airdate of "The Walking Dead" Season 7, Episode 9, but we can speculate.

"The Walking Dead" Season 5, episode 8 midseason finale aired on Nov. 30, 2014 and the show returned with episode 9 on Feb. 8, 2015.

Meanwhile, Season 6, Episode 9 aired on Feb. 14, 2016. It is likely that "The Walking Dead" Season 7, Episode 9 will air on Feb. 12, 2017 on AMC.

What happens in "The Walking Dead" Season 7 mid-season finale?

In an interview with Yahoo TV, Josh McDermitt, who plays Dr. Eugene, previewed the midseason finale. He stated that he will try his best that Rosita survives against Negan and the Saviors.

"He's slowed down Rosita as much as he could with the bullet, but then they get back to Alexandria and see that Negan and the Saviors are there, inside the walls. They probably know that Rick is gone," McDermitt said.

Meanwhile, Rosita has come up with a plan to kill Negan and she shares her plan with others, but they are not quite supportive and upbeat about her plan. Can it prove to be suicidal for her?

"The Walking Dead" Season 7 mid-season finale airs this Sunday on AMC.
