'Mortal Kombat X' Latest News & Update: Freddy Krueger Now Available, Here's What You Need to Know; Delay Caused by 'Injustice 2?'
"Mortal Kombat X" has been hot on the eyes of all its fans, especially with the questions about the Kombat Pack 3. However, it seems as if there is a lot more to be excited over; most especially for the mobile version.
It has been way over a year since the release of the particular title and fans have craved for more content time and time again. After the release of some of the most admired characters for "Mortal Kombat X," fans are now treated to another massive addition to the mobile version-one that can be a nightmare.
A recent tweet by NetherRealm Studios showed the next lineup of characters bound to be made available to the mobile version of "Mortal Kombat X." One of them is everyone's favorite dream killer, Freddy Krueger. Some can recall the character being most popular in "Mortal Kombat IX," wherein he dons two hands with razor-sharp steel claws. However, not everything about the particular addition is considered great by some fans, as backlash on his design still bugs so many gamers alike.
Players speak of their want to have the classic Robert Englund version of Freddy Krueger, instead of the latter Jackie Earle Haley version from the 2010 reboot. Nonetheless, fans can rest assured that the character is still meant for the enjoyment of the players who have the mobile version of "Mortal Kombat X."
While in the talk of enjoyment, "Mortal Kombat X" is still yet to receive a fixed date for the Kombat Pack 3 DLC that many have waited on for so long. Sadly, speculation points to the possibility of the project being set aside for their creation of "Injustice 2," the continuity to another hit series they made. Granted that this may be the case, it could take up to four months at least before the said pack comes along.
