Microsoft's Xbox One has just been released last August 2016. However, a new console is coming and it promises a much better version. Because of this, the gaming industry and the gamers are anticipating anything about its update.

Microsoft's upcoming console is called "Xbox Project Scorpio". This is bound to release on Christmas 2017. Xbox One may have failed to reach the peak of success but probably, the upcoming version will kiss the top spot as the best console.

Aiming a Console-Appropriate Price

As much as possible, the executives of Project Scorpion would like to sell the console at a decent price. AusGamers also shared about its desire to see Nintendo's famous plumber, Mario, on Xbox.

Maybe the company has learned a lesson about their console and its selling price...
Phil Spencer, the head of Microsoft's Xbox division, discussed how he wanted the Project Scorpio console to achieve balance especially in regards to allowing the machine to have genuine 4K and VR gaming without demanding a high price.

Nintendo's "Super Mario" on Xbox.

Xbox' campaign to success didn't stop at its proposed price but also, it desires to feature the well-loved plumber, Super Mario. Super Mario started in 1985 but until now, adults and young adults love him.

According to DigitalSpy, the company wants to include Nintendo's "Super Mario: primarily because it has created memories instilled in many people, and having such things on Xbox would be exceptional. It has also commended the company for as a strong first-party app.  "As someone who's been in this industry and played games forever, I'll still say it: Nintendo has the strongest first-party of anybody," Spencer stated.

Release Date

According to PC Advisor, Xbox Project Scorpio will be released some time, next Christmas 2017. However, no exact date has been confirmed yet.
