‘The Flash' Season 3 Midseason Spoilers, Speculations: Joe West Dies, Julian Becomes Dr. Alchemy Again

‘The Flash' Season 3 Midseason Spoilers: Joe West Dies, Julian Becomes Dr. Alchemy Again

The Flash" Season 3 might see Joe West die instead of his daughter Iris. Likewise, Julian Dorn might suit up as Dr. Alchemy again and betray Team Flash.

In the midseason finale of "The Flash" Season 3, Savitar delivered a grim premonition. He said that someone will betray the team. It is likely that Julian Dorn is the one who betrays the team, given how the Winter finale ended.

The midseason finale ended with Julian Dorn becoming a part of Team Flash. He now knows about Barry Allen's speed powers and about Caitlin Snow's metahuman skills. The finale also ended with him at Joe West's Christmas Eve gathering. When the midseason premiere opens, it is likely that Julian is already part of the team that Savitar mentioned.

Given this assumption, it is easy to guess why Julian Dorn could be the one betraying the team when "The Flash" Season 3 returns. Savitar easily lured him to do his orders. Even though he did not open the box with the Philosopher's Stone, Savitar managed to control him. After all, Julian was the one who found the stone and he is a worshipper of the stone. This suggests that even with the Stone trapped in the Speed Force, Savitar can still likely call out to Julian.

However, according to Cartermatt Wally West might betray the team in "The Flash" Season 3. He can easily create a portal to the Speed Force if he wants to, because he is faster than Barry Allen. He might think that getting the Philosopher's Stone would make him even more powerful.

Meanwhile, Savitar also predicted in the midseason finale of "The Flash" Season 3 that someone dies. Barry Allen saw Savitar kill Iris when he accidentally landed in the future. However, this would be such an easy reveal if Iris indeed dies.

Instead, it is likely that Joe West dies. His death would be a great loss to Team Flash since has been a father figure to everyone. His death would also affect the CCPD, since they would lose one great cop. Regardless, these are just speculations about Savitar's grim message. Fans will eventually know who dies and betrays the team when "The Flash" Season 3 returns to The CW on Jan. 24, 2017.
