'The Walking Dead' Season 7 Air Date, Spoilers, News & Update: What To Expect From Season 7 Return? Josh McDermitt Confirms Mid-Season Finale Will End With A Bang

Tonight's episode 8 of "The Walking Dead" season 7 will conclude AMC hit series' mid-season finale with Josh McDermitt teasing what will go down on tonight's episode. With the mid-season finale, there has now been speculations regarding what could possibly fans expect from "The Walking Dead" season 7 comeback on February.

What To Expect In "The Walking Dead" season 7 Mid-Season Comeback

According to rumors, "The Walking Dead" season 7 may air longer episodes since the series is expanding and introducing more characters in a fast rate. Viewers of "The Walking Dead" season 7 will most likely see an alliance between The Kingdom, Hilltop, and Alexandria to end Negan's tyranny from the said groups.

Meanwhile, Daryl (Norman Reedus) may escape from the chains of Negan (James Dean Morgan) when "The Walking Dead" season 7 returns in February. Fans can only hope that maybe an escape attempt won't lead to the death of the fan favorite character.

Speaking of fan favorite characters, Rick (Andrew Lincoln) may come to his sense and goes back to being a strong leader for the people of Alexandria when Rick sees Negan holding Judith. Maybe that scene may spark a fire within Rick and let all the hated flow by making Negan pay for what the character has done.

Mid-Season Finale Will End With A Bang!

Josh McDermitt, who plays Eugene in "The Walking Dead" season 7 admitted an interview with Entertainment Weekly that tonight's episode will be a bang. McDermitt recalls the last episode with Negan holding Judith in Alexandria while joking about killing Carl and Rick.

McDermitt stated that tonight's episode of "The Walking Dead" season 7 will pick up on how the previous episode ended with Negan playing with Judith. Rick is also on a supply run and viewers will witness what will go down in Alexandria when Rick arrives.

There are also rumors that Negan will take Judith away from Rick to further humiliate him. "The Walking Dead" season 7 is said to return on Feb. 26, 2017 from the mid-season break.
