Most Rumored Releases Of 2017: Apple, Microsoft, Samsung, Nokia

2017 is almost here and fans are excited to see what will be up in the smartphone world next year. Right now, a bunch of 2017 flagships have already showed up in the rumor world, hyping up tech fans even more. Apple, Microsoft, Samsung and even Nokia are all expected to be showing something off next year.

Apple 2017 iPhones

It has been rumored that an all-glass iPhone 8 with an OLED screen will be making an appearance next year and be wireless charging-enabled. However, just recently, a new rumor came out that there may not be an iPhone 8. Instead, regular iPhone 7 successors will show up and they will be powered by an A11 chipset. A red color model has also been leaked. Needless to say, there's still a good chance that there will be iPhone 7 successors and a premium iPhone 8 coming in next year.

Microsoft Surface Phone 2017 Rumors

Although Microsoft hasn't really been saying anything about the alleged Surface Phone, rumors about this device continue to surface online. It was said that this device will sport a display technology similar to the alleged iPhone 8. It was said that the Surface Phone will feature an all-display front surface wherein the fingerprint scanner has to be tucked inside the display panel. There should also be three variants with varying level of specs.

Samsung 2017 Smartphones

Both the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy Note 8 are anticipated from Samsung this coming 2017. The Galaxy S8 should come first at Q1 of next year and the Galaxy Note 8 could come a few months after, around mid-year. It has also been said that the Galaxy S8 and the Galaxy Note 8 would also ditch their home buttons and rely on a virtual fingerprint scanner (and possible iris scanner) for its identity recognition. There should also be a new Samsung AI coming in the way. A removable battery for the Note 8 is also a possible thing after the Note 7 controversy.

Nokia 2017 Smartphones

After Nokia's non-competition agreement with Microsoft ends this year, the company is bound to release new smartphones for next year. The new license-holder of the name Nokia is HMD Global and they have already confirmed the arrival of new Nokia Androids this 2017. Take note that HMD Global is also composed of Nokia pioneers so it will be interesting to see if they can once again hit it big time when they release their new smartphones.
