ASUS Laptop News & Update: ASUS Transformer Mini Signature Edition 2; Specs, Price, Windows 10.1

The "ASUS Transformer Mini" is a 2-in-1 Windows 10.1 laptop that comes with a bundled keyboard and pressure-sensitive stylus. It's a cut down version of the company's fantastic Transformer 3 Pro, and ultra-portable rival to the ageing Microsoft Surface 3, but initially the price looks high at £600.

The "ASUS Transformer Mini T102HA-C4-GR Signature Edition 2" in 1 PC is the best device for office and gaming. This PC is designed as 2 in 1 which mean that you can easily separate the display from the keyboard for and use the PC as a tablet. This model has a convenient kickstand that allows for hands free viewing and use. And best of all, the detachable keyboard and stylus pen are included.

The "Transformer Mini Signature Edition 2" is a compact, it measures 259 x 170 x 14mm and weighs a mere 790g including the keyboard, so it's the perfect carry around machine. This PC comes with built-in anti-virus protection and no junk ware or third-party promotional preloads for a "clean PC" experience. The device protected by a magnesium-aluminum alloy housing which is durable, lightweight and stylish looking.

The kick stand behind the display allows the display to be positioned flat, upright and in between via the 170-degree wide-angle Smart Hinge. Touch the screen with your finger to log-in via Instant ID scanning which works with Windows Hello. It can easily connect ASUS to other devices easily via USB 3.0, Micro HDMI, and Micro SD.

The "ASUS Transformer Mini Signature Edition 2" is available in Quartz Gray, Amber, Mint Green and Icicle Gold; it looks good too, and comes with a keyboard cover included. The keyboard is finished in a soft fabric material on the underside, providing a decent grip when the keyboard is closed and means it doesn't slide around when you're working on the device on a desk.

The battery is proven to last up to 11 hours between charges. But that depends on how you are using your laptop. Factors that influence battery drain are configuration, loaded applications, features, use, wireless functionality, and power management settings.
