Sackboy's taken on the appearance of a great many figures from overall pop culture, looking utterly stylish while dealing with the high amount of penis shaped objects that LittleBigPlanet players just seem to love putting into maps. But we're not here to discuss phallomania, at least, not this time. Rather, we're here to talk about a new DLC pack that's coming to LBP this week, and it involves some of the most well-known figures to have ever graced the pages of a comic book.
Gamers had their choice to don a number of Marvel costumes in the first LittleBigPlanet, but this week, it's all about DC. Of the two packs that hit the game's sequel this week, two of 'em feature DC heavyweights like Superman, Batman, and Wonder Woman.
As detailed by the PlayStation Blog, the first two bits of DLC offers a costume set that sees Sackboy able to dress as some of the Justice League standouts, as well as their arch-nemesis...es: Superman, Brainiac, Bizarro, Lex Luthor, Supergirl, and more. Additionally, the DLC also adds in:
* A new power-up, The Hero Cape - This brand new powerup will bestow your Sackboy or Sackgirl with the ability to glide long distances and perform incredible aerial acrobatics that even Batman would be proud of.
* A new ability, wall jumping - With the Wall Jump Surface Material and the Wall Jump Material Tweaker, any creator will be able to give players the ability to wall-jump in their levels.
* A memorable new tool, The Memoriser - Using this super tool you can power your creations and logic with the ability to remember things so that Sackfolk can leave your level, safe in the knowledge that their progress will be saved for another day.
* Even more creative goodies - new Materials, Objects, Decorations, Music, and a new Background to create with.
Lastly, the DLC also adds in more trophies, as well as bonus Cyborg and Cheetah costumes. The great thing about this is that the costumes will work for your copies on LittleBigPlanet for the PS Vita, and LittleBigPlanet Karting.
