The issue about Apple's missing audio jack port hasn't died yet but now, it is facing another concern about its Airpods. These are sold separately and this means having to pay for another expensive accessory apart from the overly priced iPhone 7. However, those who have and are planning to purchase are waiting in vain for its arrival.
According to CNet, the famous brand has launched projection last October 2016 however, the wireless headphone hasn't reached the ears of iPhone 7 users. Sadly, there are only announcements such as Apple needing more time prior to releasing the Airpods. Meanwhile, according to ZDnet.com CEO Tim Cook (find url) replied to an email from a random consumer and apologizing about the delay. He also added about shipping it in the coming weeks. However, despite a hint of hope for its release on or before Christmas, nobody knows the reason behind the delay.

A reliable source, Wall Street Journal, has finally shed some light to those who are anticipating about the wireless earphones. Apple said that its airpods still need some time for it to be ready to the consumers. Apparently, someone who stated that he is familiar with the development of the earphones mentioned that the airpod is still having issues with connecting wirelessly to the device independently.
It seems like a lot of works still needs to be done to make sure that there won't be any sound defects that would spoil the iPhone experience. Also, the same source shared how Apple is still figuring out about what will happen if one airpod's battery dies or, is missing.
For the meantime, it seems like iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus users need to include this on their Christmas list, hoping that it would reach their home sooner.
