Is A New ‘South Park’ Episode Airing On Dec. 14, 2016 On Comedy Central?

With the end of serialization, it was also the end of Season 20 of "South Park." Last week, Comedy Central aired the finale for this year's season. Comedy Central will not be airing any new episode of "South Park" on Wednesday, Dec. 14.

"South Park" Season 20, Episode 10 titled "The End of Serialization as We Know It" marked the conclusion of the season as well as serialization.

With Season 19, things changed for the show as they went from stand-alone instalments to a serialized structure. "South Park" Season 19 focused on gentrification, LGBTQ community and being associated with the culture of political correctness.

Meanwhile, "South Park" Season 20 started off with the representation of San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick's protest of the national anthem by kneeling down and the emergence of troll named skankhunt42 who happened to be Gerald. During the season, the arrival of Garrison in the political arena was also showcased.

When will "South Park" Season 21 air on Comedy Central?

The network has renewed the show but the official airdate has not been announced.

"South Park remains the bedrock of Comedy Central and we are thrilled that new episodes will continue to entertain audiences for years to come," said Michele Ganeless, president of Comedy Central, in a press release. "The series remains as urgent and relevant now as the day it premiered and at nearly 20 seasons in it continues to draw generations of new fans," Comedy Central's statement via Den of Geek!
