‘Vikings' Season 4B Spoilers: Will Ragnar, Ivar Split Over Religion?

Ragnar Lothbrok's religion has always dictated his conquests in the past seasons of the series. Now that he is with his son Ivar the Boneless, it remains uncertain if their opposing belief in Christianity will tear them apart in "Vikings" Season 4B.

The first season of "Vikings" saw Ragnar Lothbrok force a man to denounce his religion. Ragnar is one ruthless Viking warrior, who will never make deals with Christians. He will never agree to any Christian belief.

However, Ragnar Lothbrok (Travis Fimmel) chose to travel to Wessex with his son Ivar the Boneless (Alex Høgh Anderson) in "Vikings" Season 4B. Ragnar decides to spend more time with the son, whom according to TV Guide, he once wanted to kill.

Ivar and Ragnar have different views on religion, specifically on Christianity. This is what Alex Høgh Anderson said. Ivar takes after Floki's beliefs (Gustaf Skarsgard). This is why viewers wonder if their time together will eventually be cut short in "Vikings" Season 4B.

One thing that Ragnar is fixated on is religion. Anderson said that he will never make deals with Christians. Does this mean that Ragnar Lothbrok will eventually cut ties with Ivar the Boneless in "Vikings" Season 4B? Will he let his son denounce his faith so they can be together?

Regardless, the past three episodes in "Vikings" Season 4B showed that the father-and-son tandem will never part. Ivar the Boneless will continue to remain by his father's side, since he wants to prove to him that he is a grown man. Ivar wants to become his own legend with his father's guidance.

This means that despite their different views on Christianity, Ivar the Boneless will remain faithful to Ragnar Lothbrok. Historical accounts even revealed that he led the war against King Aelle to avenge his father's death. So far, the trailer for "Vikings" Season 4B confirmed this too will happen in the series.
