The Golden State Warriors won against New Orleans Pelicans with scores of 113-109. However, before the game, it is believed that the Warriors became threatened by Anthony Davis, as well as the stronger line up they have if compared to the previous two games against them.
The game between the Golden State Warriors and New Orleans Pelicans happened on Smoothie King Center, New Orleans. Before the game, there were speculations as to how the game will end. However, it is noted that somehow, the Warriors became wary of Anthony Davis' play, as well as the beefed up team of the Pelicans.
For the Pelicans, the game plan always include Anthony Davis as a starting player. This is because Davis is a player who means as much to his team than any other player in NBA right now. He has remarkable statistics lately, as he ranks second in the NBA scoring and blocked shots (30.6 and 2.7 consecutively). This goes to show that the Golden State Warriors can never disregard Davis' play despite them having a roster of powerful players such as Kevin Durant, Klay Thompson, and Stephen Curry.
Another bad news for the Warriors was Jrue Holiday getting back to the court. This resulted to a more aggressive and powerful Pelicans.
However, Stephen Kerr still has lots of things on his sleeves. He can reiterate his team in order to fill in the gaps to fight against the Pelicans. Kerr's strategy sure proved to be effective since the Golden State Warriors still won the game.
Yet, as we can see, they won only by 4 points - a proof that even the public favourite Golden State Warriors did have a hard time against the New Orleans Pelicans.
