‘Star Wars: Battlefront’ Joins List Of Free Xbox One Games Via EA Access
This is indeed a season to be jolly for Xbox One owners. The action shooter Electronic Arts title "Star Wars: Battlefront" is now free for Xbox One owners with an EA Access subscription.
The enviable list of free Xbox One games just keeps growing. "Star Wars: Battlefront" is now part of the "Vault" or the list of games owners of the Microsoft console can play for free, reports Game Spot.
However, the "Star Wars: Battlefront" version that joins the list of free games for Xbox One is the standard version. This means that getting addons, like the recently released "Rogue One: Scarif" comes have to be done by the players later on.
In addition, it is still unconfirmed if there are also plans to have "Star Wars: Battlefront" free for PC via the Origin Access. Origin Access is the PC version of the EA Origins, which is solely for Xbox One console owners. At the moment though, there is no version in place for the PlayStation 4 console.
"Star Wars: Battlefront" joins other exciting titles that are already free for the Xbox One console. Some of the notable games currently in the 'Vault" include "FIFA 14" 15 & 16, "Battlefield 4," "NBA Live 15" & 16, "Titanfall," "Plants Vs Zombies: Garden Warfare" 1 & 2, "EA Sports UFC" and "Madden NFL" 15, 16 & 25, to name a few.
Gamers who wish to play the free games for Xbox One will need to become members of EA Access. There are various payment options for the subscription such as the per year payment of $30 or a monthly payment of $5. Members get a ten percent discount for EA digital content as well as the opportunity to play games published by EA ahead of their release dates. The action shooter "Star Wars: Battlefront" will not be the last title to be added to the expanding list of free Xbox One games. Be sure to stay tuned to GamenGuide for the latest news and updates.
