In case you somehow thought otherwise, Minecraft's popularity is far from waning. While a new version just hit PS3, and there are upcoming editions for Vita, PS4 and Xbox One, the older versions are still selling like hotcakes. It doesn't hurt that Mojang keeps cranking out DLC based on popular licenses- case in point, the Marvel Avengers Skin Pack for Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition. While this offers up a purely cosmetic change for the characters they've just released a new video that lets you see just how neat they look in their new pixelated forms.
The video tries to appear quite heroic as well, as characters look out broodingly from the tops of buildings and trees. Despite the name of the DLC you won't just play as Earth's Mightiest Heroes like Hulk, Iron Man and Black Widow (and Agent Coulson!), the villiains are here to play as well, all your favorites from Loki to Red Skull. 35 of your favorite characters are included in the pack ... check out the trailer below!
The Marvel Avengers Skin Pack costs $2.99 and is available to download right now. Don't forget that there are plenty of other texture and skin packs you can download, including skin packs of Mass Effect and Skyrim.
