The Bluetooth Special Interest Group, where Samsung is a member, has certified the standard and is expecting the Samsung Galaxy S8 to use it within two to six months as GSMArena reports. The Bluetooth 5.0 expected release will be in late 2016 to early 2017 and the Samsung Galaxy S8 is slated to be released on February 2017 and will go on sale in March of the same year, meaning Samsung Galaxy S8 will surely feature the Bluetooth 5.0.
The Bluetooth 5.0 is bound to deliver a longer range faster speed, and a larger broadcast message capacity. With the Bluetooth 5.0 featured in the Samsung Galaxy S8, all data transfers will be richer and intelligent.
The Bluetooth 5.0 marks as one of the many features the Samsung Galaxy S8 will be having in its list of specifications, along with the Snapdragon 835 processor and the optical fingerprint scanner. There are also reports that Samsung Galaxy S8 will have an advance AI that will help users with their online transactions.
Clearly, Samsung looks to recover from the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 disaster that happened early this year that put the Korean company in a worldwide recall. With that in mind, it looks like the Samsung Galaxy S8 will put the people's trust back in the company again.
