"The 100" Season 4 trailer is finally here. The preview revealed enough spoilers to hype up fans ahead of the season premiere on Feb. 1, 2017.
The nuclear plant is melting
"The 100" Season 4 trailer starts with ALIE's voiceover, talking about the repercussions of the nuclear meltdown. Earth becomes 96 percent inhabitable. Black rain will make water undrinkable, which of course would be a problem for humanity's survival. Lesions or boils may affect people, which could then lead to their death.
Roan is back
Fans finally get their first look at one of the new Grounders. "The 100" Season 4 trailer revealed that Roan now leads the Ice Nation clan. It seems Clarke (Eliza Taylor) makes a deal with Roan in order for everyone to survive. However, Roan seems a bad choice for an ally based on the fight scenes he has in the trailer. Likewise, it seems Roan is intent on ruling over all the other Grounders.
Bellarke is back
Bellamy and Clarke still have each other's back---as always. Bellamy continues to trust Clark and her leadership, even when others seem to slowly lose their faith on her. Bellarke even had a moment, when Bellamy reached out to touch Clarke's shoulder and she rested her cheek on his hand.
Is Bellamy going to betray Clarke?
Still, there is something fishy going on with Bellamy. "The 100" Season 4 trailer showed him riding the truck with Roan. Is he making a deal with him behind Clarke's back?
Octavia takes a dark turn
Octavia (Marie Avgeropoulos) is at her darkest place yet. "The 100" Season 4 trailer showed her killing people and being the rebel that she has become. She is certainly living up to being the Skyripper, aka "death from above." However, there is also a moment where she seems her old self---as a member of the Skaikru---where she lies wounded and her face is without all of the paint marks.
What happened to Clarke?
Has Clarke contacted the precancerous lesions too? "The 100" Season 4 trailer ended with her face full of boils.
