‘Diablo 4’ Release Date, News & Update: Development Starts After 'Diablo 3' 'Rise of the Necromancer' DLC? Female Necromancer Revealed; Predictions, Gameplay

"Diablo 4" is definitely one of the most anticipated video game sequels in the next few years, and fans could no longer wait to know more about it. However, several reports have emerged suggesting that the upcoming title may never happen due to the current popularity of "Diablo 3," which is already set to release its biggest DLC in 2017, "Diablo 3" "Rise of the Necromancer."

According to reports, game developer Blizzard Entertainment will continue to focus on the current installment as they plan to release more fresh content. Apparently, "Diablo 4" is not part of the company's future plans as of the moment. There are reports circulating that Blizzard will roll out another expansion after the "Diablo 3" "Rise of the Necromancer" DLC.

If rumors prove to be true, fans will certainly have more time to spend on the current title as they also hope to get more exciting expansions. However, many players are also expecting Blizzard to shift its development to "Diablo 4" after the launching of the new "Diablo 3" "Rise of the Necromancer" DLC.

There are also reports suggesting that Blizzard is also working on the original "Diablo" game as they plan to release a remastered version of the title in 2017, after the release of "Diablo 3" "Rise of the Necromancer" DLC. However, the game developer has yet to make the official announcement with regard to its future developments including the much awaited "Diablo 4."

Meanwhile, according to Game N Guide, "Diablo III: Rise of the Necromancer" DLC will introduce several changes to its gameplay system. Players will need to have the "Reaper of Souls" expansion for the new DLC to work on the PC, while console players need to install the "Ultimate Evil Edition" update. There are speculations suggesting that a female counterpart of Necromancer will be created; however, the game developer has yet to decide if it will come out along with the upcoming DLC or in "Diablo 4."
