'Tekken 7: Fated Retribution' Release Date, News & Update: New Online Tournament Mode Added! Kuma, Panda To Join Official Roster
Two major developments for "Tekken 7: Fated Retirbution" have been announced just recently by Bandai Namco. One is specially reserved for those who are into perennially odd characters in this game's version while the other one is for those who just don't necessarily grasp the joy of playing alone. Either way, it's a win-win situation for the game developer and those who own consoles.
Bandai Namco Entertainment has revealed during the Tekken 7 King of the Iron Fist Tournament that Kuma and Panda, two of the most non-human players in the Tekken universe, have been officially added to its roster for "Tekken 7: Fated Retribution." Through a press release for "Tekken 7: Fated Retribution", the game developer has added, "As Heihachi Mishima's pet, Kuma joins his master into the Tekken Force. He proves his unfailing loyalty by trying to protect the Mishima Zaibatsu while he was believing his master was dead. Defeated by Jin Kazama, he finally found Heihachi again and become one of the most essential member of the Tekken Force."
Meanwhile, Panda of "Tekken 7: Fated Retribution" has been described by Bandai Namco as Ling Xiaoyu's pet and bodyguard. It was told that after the disappearance of Jin Kazama, Xiaoyu has ser to just to locate him despite the precariousness of the situation. The character was believed to have come after her for her rescue.
On the other hand, "Tekken 7: Fated Retribution" is also getting a new Online Tournament Mode. According to producer and director Katsuhiro Harada, the new mode will allow players to create their onw tournaments which can be enjoyed to up to seven players. Further, single and double elimination options are also included in this mode along with a secured entrance for tournament with passwords and this highly-awaited Spectator Mode.
