According to Pocket Lint, one of the games that Microsoft is going to give away is the Japanese RPG Lost "Odyssey". It originally came out as an exclusive for the Xbox at the beginning of 2008 and was highly acclaimed back then. The game is highly similar to the "Final Fantasy" series as both are co-written and designed by Hironobu Sakaguchi. Even its battle system is quite similar to other Japanese RPGs released.

You'll play the character of Kaim, an immortal who heads a party of various fighters as he travels the world to regain his lost memory and save everyone through a magical industrial revolution. The quest is quite lengthy but will certainly give you various encounters as you go through the game.
