'Minecraft' News & Update: Mojang Develops 'Fallout' Mash-Up DLC for Consoles; Check Out the Contents Here!
"Minecraft" console version is set to get "Fallout 4" update via a new post-apocalyptic DLC that will be released by Mojang. Gamers will be seeing mash-up of the two games soon and this will make the once green landscape a wasteland filled with mutants, ghouls and madmen.
Moreover, players will see familiar "Fallout 4" landmarks like the Tenpenny Tower and Capitol Building, as they are recreated in the game, block by block. The Fallout-themed "Minecraft" pack is expected to be released before this month ends.
To make the game have that genuine "Fallout 4" post-apocalyptic feel, UI effects, soundtracks, skins and maps of the Bethesda game will be featured in the "Minecraft" mash-up edition. To be exact, at least 44 skins including Tinker Tom, Paladin Cross, Fawkes, Vault Boy, Nick Valentine and The Moon Monkey are included in the DLC pack for console.
The Fallout mash-up content is the latest game to be integrated with the "Minecraft" game. Mojang had produced several packs inspired by popular games such as the "Mass Effect," "Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim" and "Halo." These were especially developed for the console versions of Mojang's sandbox video game.
The "Minecraft" and "Fallout 4" mash-up DLC has been priced at $5.99. Gamers will be able to play it on Xbox One, PLayStation 4, PlayStation Vita, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Wii U. As for the release date, players should wait a it more for an official announcement.
Meanwhile, Microsoft just announced the newest deal that is only offered for today, Dec. 16. The Xbox One S has been bundled with "Minecraft" for only $230. According to Gamespot, this offer is the cheapest bundle that gamers can find before Christmas. Game enthusiasts should take note that this deal is only available for one day so they just cannot miss it.
