‘Call Of Duty’ News & Update: Infinite Warfare Ranked On Top At NPD November; All Benefits Acquired By Nintendo

"Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" is indeed the number one game on the list, beating out its direct rival, Battlefield 1, both Pokémon games and Titanfall 2, which is surprisingly rather high up the list at #5. November NPD figures are always interesting, given how many enormous games usually come out in that window. Early word regarding the data said that "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" is running about 50% lower than retail sales of Call of Duty: Black Ops 3, still beats them all.

"Call of Duty is retail's number 1 grossing console franchise in the U.S. for the 8th consecutive year and the boldly innovative Infinite Warfare is the #1 grossing console game of the year at retail in the U.S.," as stated by Eric Hirshberg CEO of Activision.

It is crystal clear that "Call of Duty" is the highest console purchased every year. When Black Ops 3, Fallout 4 and Battlefront were the top three games in 2015, this year has seen 43% lower sales for its top three sales, and a lot of that is likely due to Call of Duty declines, though NPD does not single out the game specifically in their statement, instead combining the three together.

"In addition to our annual blockbuster release, Call of Duty is about engaging fans year around. Black Ops 3 has had amazing engagement all year and now with the classic, boots on the ground gameplay of Modern Warfare Remastered, and the thrilling new experiences of Infinite Warfare, we have a great experience for every Call of Duty fan this holiday," as stated by Eric Hiishberg in an interview.

Meanwhile, "Nintendo Company"; who sold just a massive amount of copies of Sun and Moon, topping initial Black and White sales by 8%, and saw 3DS sales spike 59%. The NES Classic Edition sold 196,000 units, which is almost certainly every unit Nintendo made.
