Huawei has a Christmas offering to its loyal fans with the release of its newest line of smartphone - Honor Magic. It is indeed the curviest handset released by the Chinese brand given its edge to edge curved glass design.
Aside from the curvy design, the highlight of the recently released Honor Magic includes its intelligent sensor which is an added security feature to protect the user's privacy. Other notable features are the WiseScreen and FaceCode Intelligent Recognition. Plus, it also has a Magic Live feature which is AI software that can perform select tasks according to a report.
The WiseScreen sensor works as it automatically turns on the screen once it recognizes the user's hands and eyes. The sensor relies on infrared sensors and it's the front camera who switches on the screen. The Honor Magic is also automatically put into sleep mode when inside a pocket. Meanwhile, the FaceCode Intelligent Report is a feature for tighter privacy. With this, all notification will only appear depending on who is holding the smartphone. For these features to enable, the users need to register their faces on the smartphone.

GSM Arena reported that Huawei Honor Magic comes with a 5.09-inch AMOLED screen display with HD resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels under a 3D curved glass. It has a home button which is also used as fingerprint sensor. The phone weighs 145g with 1.8mm body thickness. It is available in two colors: Golden Black and Porcelain White.
In terms of its processor, it is powered by octa core Huawei Kirin 950 at 1.8GHz with 4G RAM and 64G internal storage. The Honor Magic runs an Android 6.0 Marshmallow and is backed up with 2900mAh for a better battery performance. It has a 12MP dual rear camera with F/2.2 aperture and an 8MP front camera for selfies.
The Huawei Honor Magic is already available for pre-order in China priced at CNY 3,700 or $530. Delivery is expected to fall on Christmas Day December 25.
