We have word today from Cartoon Network Digital and D3Publisher that Adventure Time Card Wars is now available in Apple's App Store for iPhone and iPad. Based on the episode of the same name (Episode 92: Card Wars) you'll be able to play the same game that Finn and Jake get into trouble with on the show. It's a card game, sure, but it features a holographic battlefield that brings everything to life, making it the perfect choice for a videogame version.
The game was developed by Kung Fu Factory (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Rooftop Run) and features 20 playable characters from the Land of Ooo, as well as craftable cards and hundreds of creatures, spells, and abilities. There are over 200 cards, 250 quests, 90 tournament battles and even more numbers to find. As in the showw the game has you summoning creatures and building builings, using a holographic game board to witness the battles.

Adventure Time Card Wars comes right as Cryptozoic Entertainment plans to release the real-life actual card game. The game will be available in various card sets (Finn vs. Jake, BMO vs Lady Rainicorn) for $20 each sometime later this month. To give you more of an incentive to pick up both phyiscal and digital versions, the Cryptozoic game will come with code cards that unlock content for the iOS app.
The app is currently available for $3.99 in Apple's App Store and it will come with optional in-app purchases. No one can escape premium in-game currency!
