With the "Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue" release date already set next month, PlayStation 4 gamers are definitely excited to have the upcoming collection. Leaving nothing to chance, developer Square Enix just released a new trailer showing some exciting gameplay and spectacular action sequences.

In the recently released "Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue" trailer, Square Enix teased some cutscenes and gameplay footages in each of the three games contained in the collection. For instance, viewers get a preview of the key players and events that led to the Keyblade War, a glimpse of what Aqua had to go through during her time in the Dark World as well as Yen Sid's guiding Sora, King Mickey and Riku as they prepare to go up against Xehanort, reports The Otaku's Study.

Fans may expect the "Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue" gameplay to be spectacular. It is actually a collection of three games, one of which is a HD remaster of a previous title, "The Kingdom Hearts Dream Drop Distance" optimised for the current generation PlayStation 4 console.

Aside from the remastered game, the "Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue" also contains two new titles. One of these is the "Kingdom Hearts 0.2: Birth by Sleep - A Fragmentary Passage," which is viewed as a bridge between the "Birth by Sleep" and the main series seen from Aqua's perspective. The other game titled "Kingdom Hearts X Back Cover" which is an entirely new game which covers the story of the Foretellers.

The "Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue" release date is slated this coming January 12, 2017 for the Japanese market while its worldwide launch is set by January 24, 2017. The collection will only be available for the PlayStation 4 title at the moment.
