Nokia Android Phones Release Date, Specs, Pricing, News & Update: Nokia Confirms 2 Android Phones Early 2017; Smartphones to Compete with iPhone 7
Nokia Android phones have been in the rumor mill for quite some time now, and fans could not wait for the Finnish multinational communications company to deliver. According to the latest report, Nokia is said to have confirmed two Android smartphones to come out in the first quarter of 2017.
Previous reports suggested that the European phone maker was going to launch the two new Nokia Android phones in the last quarter of 2016. With less than two weeks before the start of another year, several industry observers doubt if the release will still happen.
However, Nokia will apparently introduce the highly anticipated smartphones during the Mobile World Congress or MWC 2017, which is already scheduled to happen in late February. The report says that the two Nokia Android phones will be its flagship device and the other one is the entry level handset. According to reports, the flagship smartphone will carry impressive specs under the hood and is expected to become a worthy challenger to the mighty iPhone 7 and the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S8. On the other hand, the mid-range device will be perfect for budget-conscious consumers.
The latest report suggests that the new Nokia Android phones will stay true to Nokia's signature design, and this was confirmed by the CEO of HMD Global, Arto Nummela. "It will be premium quality [and a] design that people will immediately recognize as Nokia," Nummela said in a report by The Economic Times of India.
Nokia is said to immediately go global once they decide to release its two Nokia Android phones as they expect to compete with other major smartphone makers. According to reports, the company will make sure to compete well in terms of specs and pricing.
There have been speculations suggesting that the two Nokia Android phones will carry price tags from $150 to $200. The high-end model is expected to run on a powerful processor paired with 3 GB of RAM, while, the budget-friendly device will have 2 GB Memory.
As of the moment, Nokia has yet to provide the release date specifics of its upcoming two Nokia Android phones. However, the company is expected to make an announcement early next year. Stay tuned for more news and updates.
