"Grand Theft Auto 6" might not arrive anytime soon but the upcoming video game title has been a subject of numerous rumors and speculations for quite some time now. Despite the lack of official information with regard to its production and release date, fans and critics have already shared some important details about its possible plot and gameplay. New reports have emerged suggesting that Rockstar Games might release the first ever "GTA 6" trailer next year.

However, industry observers highly doubt that to happen as "Grand Theft Auto 6" is expected to arrive in 2020. Nonetheless, some fans believe that Rockstar Games alongside its parent company Take-Two Interactive will roll out its first ever teaser a year or two before the actual release date of "GTA 6."

As of the moment, the game developer is currently focusing on creating more fresh content for "GTA 5" or "GTA Online." Rockstar Games is also expected to release the highly anticipated "Red Dead Redemption 2" next year, which is also rumored to be a contributing factor to the delay of the development of "Grand Theft Auto 6." However, if the company decides to surprise everyone with a "GTA 6" trailer next year, fans can definitely expect the new game to arrive earlier than expected.

Possible Locations for "Grand Theft Auto 6"

Meanwhile, several locations have already been mentioned as possible settings of "GTA 6" including London, which many previously believed to be true. However, GTA writer Dan Houser revealed that London is never going to be the perfect location for "Grand Theft Auto 6." There are reports suggesting that Rockstar Games is considering multiple locations to be featured in the game, but this has yet to be confirmed by the company.

Aside from its new location, "Grand Theft Auto 6" is also expected to feature new weapons, new cars, and new characters including a female one, which is rumored to be played by no other than Eva Mendes. As of the moment, fans are still waiting for the official announcement from Rockstar Games regarding "GTA 6." Stay tuned for more news and updates about the "GTA" franchise.
