'Mass Effect: Andromeda' Release Date, News & Update: Bioware Confirms Sci-Fi Game Won't Have VR Support; Bioware Game Will Be On Microsoft Scorpio & Nintendo Switch
Every game developer right now has been making VR games such as "Resident Evil VII" by Capcom and more. Although, "Mass Effect: Andromeda" a new generation game, Bioware has been vocal about the game not having VR support for the 2017 release, but said game developer added that Bioware is not closing its doors for a possibility.
Bioware Confirms 'Mass Effect: Andromeda' Will Not Have VR Support
Game producer, Mike Gamble stated that "Mass Effect: Andromeda" will not join the VR bandwagon when the game is release in 2017. However, Gamble admitted that there are still possibilities that "Mass Effect: Andromeda" will have a VR feature in the near future.
Gamble stated that it would be cool for "Mass Effect: Andromeda" to venture into the VR realm, but Bioware will never port a "Mass Effect" game to VR. Gamble added that Bioware would want to create a custom experience, if Bioware would do such a thing.
According to reports, Bioware has been developing "Mass Effect: Andromeda" for some years now, so the game developer's main concern is to finish "Mass Effect: Andromeda." It is unlikely for Bioware to add a VR support for "Mass Effect: Andromeda" in the last minute just for the sake of it.
'Mass Effect: Andromeda' For The Scorpio & Nintendo Switch
Meanwhile, Gamble was asked if "Mass Effect: Andromeda" would be playable to Microsoft's Project Scorpio and Nintendo Switch. The "Mass Effect: Andromeda" producer stated that Bioware has no plans for "Mass Effect: Andromeda" being featured in one of the mentioned gaming console, but the game producer also doesn't want their options limited.
