Huawei Honor Magic has been formally launched in China. According to reports, the new smartphone has an advanced AI feature that recognizes the owner and turns on the screen immediately.
Huawei Honor Magic Comes With WideScreen Feature
The new Huawei Honor Magic will have a feature dubbed as WiseScreen that combines a sensor on the frame while an infrared camera on the front. This feature reportedly recognizes the eyes and the hand of the phone's owner, unlocking automatically so the person may continue using it. The Huawei Honor Magic remains unlocked it it is not the owner detected.
Huawei Honor Magic notifications will also be protected by a FaceCode Intelligent Recognition feature. Based on reports, if the phone does not recognize the person holding it, the feature will not show up. The two futuristic features of Huawei Honor Magic use AI-based software, dubbed Magic Live that is on top of the Android 6.0 Marshmallow mobile OS.
The Huawei Honor Magic also comes at 5.09-inch 2K resolution curved AMOLED display, topped with double 3D glass covers, which is reported to reflect bright light. The new device will be powered by its own Kirin 950 octa-core processor that runs at 2.3GHz, along with 4GB of system memory. Although Huawei Honor Magic will have a 64GB of internal storage, it cannot be expanded, according to report.
Huawei Honor Magic Has Exceptional Design
Huawei Honor Magic's home button has been designed to replace the regular back and overview buttons in a smartphone. As such, the users can touch, double tap or just swipe on the same home key for all those purposes.
Based on reports, this design is intended to make the Huawei Honor Magic's overall screen bigger than the normal size. Moreover, the home button will also have a fingerprint sensor.
Huawei Honor Magic's battery is said to be made of graphite molecular structure, that when mixed with the new charging circuit design, would only take 10 minutes to reach up to 40 percent of its battery charge, while 20 minutes to get 70 percent, Android Authority reported.
