Instagram Latest News and Update: Save Photos and Videos Privately With Instagram's Bookmark

Nowadays, Instagram has become more than just a photo and video sharing app, it has also turned like a menu book from restaurants. With several mouth-watering photos and videos shared worldwide, a simple "like" is not enough. Saving the photos and videos will surely help a lot.

With so many people wishing for the same thing to happen, a new feature has made saving Instagram posts possible. SlashGear has reported about a new bookmark icon, which has been added to any public Instagram photos. All the user needs to do is tap the button and the target image will be added to a special private tab.

This feature will benefit many of its users as they now have the opportunity to go back on a certain video they want to watch over and over again. They can also save an outfit to inspire their every day OOTD or check the scrumptious dessert from another city. All these, with just a single tap, will be saved and users can look for it in their own profile and by tapping the bookmark icon. Contents are saved in chronological order.

Instagram Updates

This saving ability is just one of the many updates of Instagram. It seems like the photo and video sharing app is running away from just sharing instead, it's becoming more like a real social network such as Facebook and Periscope.

As stated in Imaging Resource, Instagram already has live streaming which only needs a single tap on its live video button.

Another update of Instagram has made it look like Snapchat where users can send their follower's images that automatically self-delete. It is also capable of notifying users whenever someone has taken a screenshot of their photo or videos. These updates have received positive outcomes as 300 million users has started using each feature.
