“Crash Bandicoot” is a landmark in both platformers and adventure games. As one of the most easily recognized titles, it shot Naughty Dog into stardom, which later on delivered more hits like “The Last of Us” and “Uncharted” to their fans. Now “Crash Bandicoot” is getting a rework and here is everything you need to know about it.
The official “Crash Bandicoot” site has released an official announcement of the release of “Crash Bandicoot N-Sane Trilogy”. On their site it is shown that the pack will contain the first three adventures of Crash. These are “Crash Bandicoot”, “Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Back” and “Crash Bandicoot 3: Warped”. Judging from the screenshots shared, the developers of the game have stayed faithful to the original designs, where they have been enhanced, instead of changed. For now the collection will be available only on PS 4 at the price of $39.99. Releases for other platform have neither been announced nor hinted.
Den of Geek reports that Vicarious Visions, the developers of the remastered collection, have stayed completely faithful to the original game. They have used the games’ geometry as a basis upon which they have rebuilt the whole game while trying to maintain its simplicity and fun. They desire to keep the original spirit of the game as reached levels at which players may once again her the re-recorded and improved voice lines of Jess Harnell and Lex Lang who are just a small part of the collective of voices brought back to improve the gaming experience.
The official trailer of the game shows that the developers have not shied away from the PS4’s capabilities. The improved graphics are an eye feast which can bring back the oldest memories of childhood while playing. The humor which has always been part of the game is present in both the trailer and the re-mastered collection.
