Shiny Pokemon is just one of the kinds of characters that "Pokemon Sun and Moon" players can find in the Nintendo 3DS game. For gamers who are adamant in finding many Shiny Pokemon, here is a helpful gaming tip to increasing the spawn rate of the Pokemon type.

"Pokemon Sun and Moon" contains around 800 creatures that consist of various Pokemon types from normal to psychic or fairy creatures. One unique character type would be a Shiny Pokemon who has alternate colorings from its original version.

Finding a Shiny Pokemon while exploring the Alolan region of "Pokemon Sun and Moon" can be quite difficult. Gamers may need to find a handful of other creatures before the game will spawn the said Pokemon.

However, using a Shiny Charm will help to increase the odds of encountering more Shiny Pokemon in the wild, according to "Pokemon Sun and Moon" gaming tips posted on Mic. The said charm will only be available to gamers who have completed the Pokemon catalog of the Alolan areas Akala, the Melemele, Poni and Ula'ula.

Once complete, gamers should look for the Game Director located inside a building towards the left side of Heahea City's Dimensional Research Lab. Found hanging around on the second floor in a gray top, eyeglasses, backpack and orange shorts, the Game Director typically grant passport stamps when spoken to.

After the said "Pokemon Sun and Moon" character has affixed the final stamp marking the completion of the Alola Pokedex, the Game Director will give out a Shiny Charm as a reward. When equipped, the special item will increase the chances of a gamer finding a Shiny Pokemon.
