The sequel to the simple, ridiculous, and downright fun arcade-puzzle game Peggle is coming to Xbox 360 in May, developers PopCap have announced.
Peggle 2 was released for Xbox One on December 9, and Microsoft's new console is currently the only platform on which the game is available. It expanded on the original game by adding new levels, challenges, and playable Peggle Masters, each with their own unique ability.

The series made its debut on Windows PC and Mac OS X in 2007 before making its way to Xbox Live Arcade, PlayStation Network, Nintendo DS and mobile phone app stores through the years since.
PopCap have also announced today the addition of the multiplayer Duel Mode to the Xbox One version of Peggle 2 for free, allowing players to face off against one another in local or online play. This mode will be included from the start in the Xbox 360 version of the game.
Peggle combines puzzle-style gameplay with elements from simple classic games such as pinball and pachinko. The player must launch a limited number of balls down the board through a field of pegs and destroy the special orange ones before running out of shots.
The Peggle Master you are playing as has a special ability you must take advantage of if you want to win, and they're unique across all the characters. The series has a fun, silly tone throughout with oddball characters, whimsical levels and a soaring rendition of Beethoven's 9th Symphony (Ode to Joy) when you clear a level.
PopCap was acquired by Electronic Arts in 2011 for $650 million and have created some very popular franchises including Bejewled and Plants vs. Zombies. Peggle 2 will be out for Xbox 360 on May 7 in North America and Europe and is currently available for Xbox One.
