Wargaming has announced that World of Warplanes Update 1.2 is now live in Russia, and will be available in Europe and North America tomorrow, March 6th. This new patch will give you a whole bunch of improvements to the game, biggest of all which is a set of Combat Missions that will grand various rewards after completing certain requirements.
As always there's a ton of support for the free-to-play game! The Missions are now available and will be provided on a regular basis, offering different challenges in return for rewards. Another big addition to the game is the ability to record your battle replays, saving them and sharing them among your friends and the community. It's going to be a good way to show off your best battles.
One way to get better at the game is to check out the new post-battle results screen. This is what displays in the Hangar after your battle and it will offer information not only on that battle but every other one you've engaged in your current play session, offering more stats for you and your opponents.
There's also an absolute ton of tweaks and adjustments to improve game balance and make all of these planes more historically accurate. The economy has been changed as well- players now get fully rewarded with Credits and XP for destroying enemy planes based on the total amount of hit points at the moment of death. In particular, it will increase the reward for shooting down an enemy plane by critically damaging its wings or tail or when it crashes after players attack.

Wargaming has also announced a one-hour livestream to show off all of the new features in 1.2. There will be a Q&A with World of Warplanes Senior Producer Gareth Luke and Wargaming America's PR Coordinator Jamie King tomorrow. Viewers will have a chance to win prizes such as joysticks and in-game gold codes.
