JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle Announced by Namco Bandai

Namco Bandai has just sent over world that JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle, based on the long-running manga, is coming to North America exclusively to the PS3. The game will be available all across the Americas on April 29th, 2014 via digital download over PSN, or through a limited retail release on Amazon and directly through Namco's shop.

The "All-Star Battle" of the title refers to the characters involved in this fighting game. They've taken characters from all eight story arcs of Hirohiko Araki's manga and thrown them all together, pitting them in one-on-one fights. The graphics are intended to make you feel like you're playing characters ripped straight out of the books, and each character has their own signature moves, which will be punctuated by dynamic camera angles.

The game will feature a story mode as well as the obligatory online multiplayer.

Buying the retail version actually has its benefits- if you preorder the game through Club Namco (ClubNamco.com) or Amazon.com you'll get a free DLC character. Here's the details.

Club Namco gets-

Yoshikage Kira (Chapter 4 - Diamond is Unbreakable): "Originally a salesman aspiring for a quiet life, Kira is full of contradictions and madness. Why would a man seeking discretion wear a purple suit? Why would a man seeking discretion be a serial-killer for years? Lot of questions remains unanswered around this scary man and his terrifying stand: Deadly Queen…"

Amazon.com gets-

Shigekiyo Yangu (Chapter 4 - Diamond is Unbreakable): "Nicknamed 'Shigechi', like a characters of characters in JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure, he appears to be full of paradoxes."
