Kingdom Hearts Series: Square Enix Survey Wants to Know what Fans Think about Kingdom Hearts

Square Enix Survey Wants to Know What Fans Think about Kingdom Hearts

Square Enix has recently posted an online survey looking for fan input on their Disney-meets-Final-Fantasy series, Kingdom Hearts. The series returned after a long hiatus (not counting spin-offs) at last year's E3 where Kingdom Hearts III was finally (and thankfully) announced. The Japanese publisher appears to be looking into what fans of the series occupy themselves with when not playing Kingdom Hearts games and what the publisher can do to make the series more appealing - in terms of what worlds we most enjoyed, and what our favorite video game genres are.

The online survey takes about 5-10 minutes to complete and was posted on Survey Monkey. The survey asks us the typical questions, like how many games do we buy a year, what our favorite game genres are, what have we been playing and hope to play in the future, and what Kingdom Hearts games do we have experience with.

The survey seems to have been crafted with several intentions in mind: gauge what Kingdom Hearts fans enjoy most about the series and how can Square Enix capture our attention in the future. Questions regarding Disney content (characters and worlds), favorite games in the series, level of difficulty of the series, and the amount of frustration had, are also asked. A list of platforms are also brought up asking us which do we spend most of our time in, in the order of most to least. Oddly, though, the Vita is absent, while Facebook games are not. Not cool, SE.

If the survey is going to give the publisher an idea of what fans want, then I hope they take my suggestion that I definitely would buy another Limited Edition of a Kingdom Hearts game. Give me a steelcase and an artbook, and I'm set!

Also, I thought that I'd let them know that my interest in "True Detective" (my favorite TV shows at the moment) is highly relevant to my appreciation to the Kingdom Hearts series. Oh, and that they shouldn't ignore the Vita and PC. It's not like Sora isn't already in a PC game or two; Garry's Mod is a scary, scary place...

The survey can be taken right here. Do be sure to answer truthfully, as Square Enix has made weird decisions in the past and direct feedback like this can be very valuable. The last thing we need is a Kingdom Hearts: All The Bravest Facebook game spamming us invites to share our hearts.
