Playstation Plus is a subscriptions option available to the owners of Sony’s consoles the PS3, PS4 PS Vita to receive two free games once every month. Now the list of chosen titles for this month’s release has leaked before the official announcement and it seems to hold quite a few great titles.

Playstation Universe shares the names of this month’s chosen Playstation Plus titles to be offered for free to subscribers. For the PS 4 the two titles are the hit platformer game “Little Big Planet 3”, and a pixelated indie side-scroller shooter named “Not a Hero”. The owners of PS3 will be gifted the titles of “Starwhal” and “Anna: Extended Edition”. Sony’s handheld console has not been forgotten in the plus, as for it have been picked the titles of “Ninja Senki DX” and “TorqueL”.

Express UK shared additional details on Playstation Plus’ new releases. According to them, Sony has not yet made an announcement towards the owners of their virtual reality headset the Sony VR. The owners of this new piece of hardware are in expectation, but they may be left out of the list, as no official announcement about VR games joining the bundle has been released. Maybe in the coming months, when there is a wider selection of VR titles in Sony’s catalogue such a decision would be made. All that can be done by fans for now is to express their desire on the official forums and wait for a reply.

When checking the list of offered titles, readers may see some of them marked as “cross-buy”. What does that mean? A slightly dated article on Playstation US site explains the concept quite simply and yet in exhaustion. This means that buying the game on one medium grants a playable version on one or more of Sony’s other consoles. The given example is with “Ratchet & Clank: Full Frontal Assault” bough on the PS3 gives free access to a PS Vita version of the game. Every “cross-buy” title is marked as such and has notes explaining which consoles are supported with the title. The official announcement of the Playstation Plus titles will soon be made.
