‘Zelda: Breath Of The Wild’: Wraps Up Development, Get Pressure On Release

“Legend of Zelda” is one of the gaming’s most popular and easily recognizable names. Link has been in countless adventures and has saved Hyrule numerous times, but is it now tougher than it has ever been before?

Forbes Magazine shares that there are a lot of expectations placed in “Zelda: Breath of the Wild” by both Nintendo and gamers alike. It is not unexpected, considering that it is one of the starter games for Nintendo’s new platform “Switch”, on the other hand, it is an interesting new way to look at and experience the adventures of Link, which raises expectations from gamers. The development team is placed between a rock and a hard place and the only escape from it is to make one of the most amazing “Legend of Zelda” adventures on the level of “A Link to the Past” or “Ocarina of Time”.

Game Rant has good news for the development team of “Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild”. Even though the game has not been yet released, it has achieved gold status. At least when it comes to sells, the developers have been secured, but the work on the game is just beginning, as a series of discovered bugs and glitches will force the team to work on updates and patches. According to data shared by Nintendo, the game is 13.4GB which is a large portion of the “Switch” HDD capacity, which means that big updates are not pleasantly awaited.

The official “Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild” shares the series of amiibo statues released with the game and the in-game prizes they will deliver. An 8-bit link statue will not only be an interesting decoration to one’s shelf but will also bring a random amount of rupees to its owner. The Link from “Ocarina of Time” statue will give you a random amount of meat. Toon Link and Zelda from “Wind Waker” will bring you a random amount of fish and the random amount of plants respectively. “Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild” will be released on WiiU and Nintendo “Switch” on March 3, 2017.
