'Halo Wars 2' Delays Launch Of Important Feature; Bug Noted In Game

"Halo Wars 2" gamers just noticed that the recently launched sequel rolled out without a ranked competitive system similar to the "Halo 5" days. While the delay of the feature on the latter was said to be intentional, the "Halo Wars 2" element will follow the launch shortly after. In the meantime, "Halo Wars 2" critics have already noted a bug in the game called the Black Screen.

Developers Prompt Gamers To Practice Strategies First

Apparently, the ranked competitive system coming to "Halo Wars 2" soon has been noted as a formal ranked competitive system. One of the reasons the "Halo Wars 2" developer 343 Industries revealed about the delay was that unranked or social environments in "Halo wars 2" may be less stressful to players. It is also expected that the current system may be able to invite players to try out the game and practice first before getting pressured by ranking.

It is further believed that the lack of the element may give "Halo Wars 2" players time to try out different tactics, Digispectra reported. Moreover, pushing back the system is said to give the developers time to respond to balance issues. Furthermore, it is said to be easier for "Halo Wars 2" players to be exposed to the hot-fixable issues in such an environment where there are no stakes in the midst of heated ranked competition.

"Halo Wars 2" Gamers Note Game-Breaking Bug

In other news, while "Halo Wars 2" is said to be picking up a slack as one of the big Xbox One exclusives this year, players have noted major issues with the game. Apparently, several "Halo Wars 2" players have reported crashes to desktop as well as the Black Screen of death issue. It should be noted that most of the complaints are coming from PC players, Mic reported.

"Halo Wars 2" gamers took it to the game's official subreddit to report aggravating problems with the PC version of the game. Apparently, "Halo Wars 2" gamers get their units stuck on the map. Moreover, multiplayer connectivity has also been frowned upon.  In the meantime, watch the "Halo Wars 2" on Windows 10 PC below:
