One of the important items in “The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild” that players need to look for are the heart containers used to increase the number of hearts. It takes some time to find a lot of them so this article will serve as a guide to make it easier for the players.

Understanding the Use of Heart Containers

The more hearts a player gets in the game, the better their health will be in the game according to Primagames. With improved health, a player can take in more hits before they need to restore their health. So each time a player get a new heart container, they also get another heart in the meter shows in the upper left side of the screen.

In “The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild”, getting hearts also means improving Link’s stamina which makes him harder to defeat by his enemies and being able to withstand more workload like climbing higher, reaching farther distance through gliding. This also means a player can only increase their stamina one at a time.

Where to Get More Hearts

To get more hearts, IGN reports Link must find four Spirit Orbs in the game. This is acquired by finishing a shrine. Fortunately, players don’t need to open every chest and secret in the shrine in order to get all four orbs. All they need to accomplish is finish the game and talk with the monk in the last chamber. Each monk offers one spirit orb to Link.

As players get four orbs, they can go to Goddess Hylia or any of the different altars in Hyrule to pray. Each prayer allows Link to spend four spirit orbs to get an additional heart container or stamina in the game. Players just need to choose which one they like and they will instantly acquire it in exchange of the orbs.
