'Pokemon Unite' Leak: Full Duraludon Gameplay Revealed Ahead of its March 14 Release

'Pokemon Unite' Leak: Full Duraludon Gameplay Revealed Ahead of its March 14 Release

"Pokemon Unite" will be adding another character in the line-up of the Attackers. According to the latest trailer released on Tuesday, Mar. 8, the Steel/Dragon Pokemon Duraludon will be coming into the game in the next few days.

Ahead of its official debut next Monday, March 14, leaked gameplay for this Gen 8 Pokemon was revealed. Some fans have different speculations about its movesets that will be introduced next week.

'Pokemon Unite' Releases Duraludon Teaser

The official YouTube channel of Pokemon Unite has uploaded a 33-second clip showing Duraludon's potential moveset in the game.

In the first part of the video, the dinosaur-like Pokemon encounters Ludicolo. There are floating stones around the latter which suggests that Duraludon could have a move like Stealth Rock.

This rock-type maneuver is useful in mainline Pokemon games, especially for setting up hazards against the opponent.

Every time the enemy switches out, the Pokemon will be damaged by the rock. The intensity of the damage will depend on the type of the switching opponent.

In the second part of the clip, the new Attacker is fighting Pikachu. We could see streaks of light coming from its mouth. There's no mention of the particular name of the move, but it could be a beam attack or the other way around.

For the waning seconds of the teaser, Duraludon unleashes a wide-range attack that damages Pikachu. Judging from the look of it, it appears that it could be its Unite move.

So far, TiMi Studio Group has not yet disclosed further details about this new character. All we know at the moment is that Duraludon can be an effective backline for the team because of its long-range attacks.

Full Duraludon Gameplay Leak

For the exciting part, fans have been longing to see what Duraludon could offer to the squad. A YouTube user named Pokedemaru appears to have a short video showcasing this Pokemon's potential movesets and Unite Move.

Below are the alleged moves that we could see for this Alloy Pokemon in the succeeding days, according to the uploader.

  • Lvl 1: Air Slash
  • Lvl 2: Bulk Up or Outrage
  • Lvl 5: Dragon Wave or Flash Cannon
  • Lvl 7: Stealth Rock or Dragon Tail
  • Lvl 9: Unite Move

However, one fan was quick to criticize the Japanese clip. According to this user, the first move is Metal Claw and not Air Slash. Moreover, the second move is also wrong, according to him. Instead of Bulk Up, it should be Laser Focus.

The third move is also erroneous for true-blue fans who grew up with Game Freak's Pokemon games. The Dragon Wave maneuver should be Dragon Pulse. It is based on the Japanese name of the move icon.

Another commenter shared his thoughts about this "Pokemon Unite" leak. According to him, the Lvl 5 move should be Metal Burst and Steel Beam/Flash Cannon. Meanwhile, the Lvl 7 move might be Stealth Rocks and Dragon Tail/Breaking Swipe.

Regarding Duraludon's Unite Move, one noticed that it has a resemblance with Blastoise's because of the "spinning" and "throwing" trademark.
