No More Heroes 3 will be released on PC and consoles later this year, according to a tweet by XSeed. The game was previously a Nintendo Switch exclusive. But now, it will finally be available for PC, PS4, PS5, and Xbox. However, it is not entirely clear whether it will be released for current Microsoft systems or whether it includes the Xbox One.

Although it has not yet been confirmed exactly when the new game will be released - or what PC platform the developer will choose - XSeed has confirmed that the fan's favorite series's third installment will be in the fall.

The Otaku Assassin Returns - This Time on More Platforms!

"Our favorite otaku assassin returns!" tweeted games XSeed. "Travis Touchdown has been forced out of retirement to defend not only Santa Destroy, but Earth itself! Bring on the beam katana and take on Travis' toughest challenge yet in No More Heroes 3, coming this fall to PS4, PS5, Xbox, and PC!"

No More Heroes 3 is an action-adventure, third-person, hack-and-slash game. In this game, the player takes on the role of professional killer Travis Touchdown, who must reach the top of the ranking of galactic superheroes. No More Heroes 3 was one of the many games that were delayed when the coronavirus pandemic affected the gaming industry around the world.

The series is known for its absurd and irreverent sense of humor. A 15-year running gag was Travis has looking for a toilet every time a game is saved.

No More Heroes combines fast-paced gameplay. It also offers exploration and mini-games in small but intertwined open worlds. Aside from the main plot, Travis also has to make money between missions by performing small tasks like mowing someone's grass.

The unconventional 3D action series was first released on the Nintendo Wii and is probably a Grasshopper Manufacture and Suda 51's most famous work.

Is A 'Deadpool' Game by Suda51 Also In The Works?

No More Heroes 3, like the quirky Japanese cult classic Deadly Premonition 2, was originally released exclusively for Nintendo Switch. However, both games seem to struggle with the hardware limitations of the platform. With its expansion to other platforms, No More Heroes 3 has more room for lightning-fast action.

In a statement posted on Twitter, founder and CEO Grasshopper Goichi "Suda51" Suda described how the COVID-19 pandemic turned out to be "a real explosion" of their schemes and has caused unexpected delays in progress. Last year, it was revealed that a Deadpool game by Suda51 and Grasshopper was also previously in the plans. After all these years, ten years later to be exact, he said that he'd still wanted to do the project.

"More than ten years ago, Activision actually came to me at one point to make Deadpool," Suda said, explaining that he had an interview with Activision shortly after the release of the first No More Heroes.

"Obviously, that plan never came to fruition, and it fizzled out in the initial planning stages but I had some really cool ideas for it at the time."

Although Suda has shown a new interest in creating Deadpool, he recently joked that "the more I talk about the games I want to make, the more impossible it can be."
