Nintendo has recently confirmed that it has fixed a massive issue that has been plaguing the Switch 2 games "Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl."

ComicBook Gaming shared a new report that reveals that the months-long issue that players suffered when playing "Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl" on the Switch 2 console is now fixed.

Nintendo has now faced reports and criticisms from players as "Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl" were not performing well on the Switch 2, and many users already raised the crashing issues before.

However, the company did not address the issue since the release of the Switch 2 back in June, and this has plagued fans since then.

Despite fixing the crashing issue on both titles of the remastered Nintendo DS game, the Japanese gaming company still did not talk about what caused the problem. Additionally, the company did not address what measures they took to fix the problem.

No More Crashing on the Nintendo Switch 2 Console

Nintendo DS fans may now celebrate and rejoice as the beloved remastered versions of two of the most popular "Pokémon" games are now performing well on the Switch 2 console. The fix was done through the Switch 2 2026 update version 21.2.0, which was released last week to all regions.

"Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl" are known for being beloved titles as they deliver the Generation IV Pokémon.
